Manuela Sailer

Affiliation: BENEO-Institute, Manager Nutrition Science, BENEO GmbH, Mannheim, Germany

Short Biography:

Manuela Sailer has a MSc in Nutrition Science from the University of Giessen, Germany and obtained a PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) from the Technical University of Munich (2013). She was member of the Research Training Group “Interface functions of the intestine between luminal factors and host signals” for PhD fellows.
In 2013 she joined BENEO. At BENEO-Institute she works as a Manager Nutrition Science.

Current Research:

Her research activities are on the nutritional benefits of BENEO’s functional fiber ingredients and her interest is in particular on the effect of inulin-type fructans on gut health.
