born in Rome in 1972, worked in Thpomas Jefferson University, in Philadelphia, USA, in Bruno Calabretta's laboratory on molecular mechanisms of chronic myelogenous leukemia and Philadelphia's chromosome, from 1999 to 2002.
In 2004-2005 he worked in the Department of Chemistry of Imperial College, South Kensington campus, in London, under the supervision of prof. Andrew Miller, in a spin-off company IC-Vec ltd., whose topic was in vivo delivery using lipids.
From 2005 he is part of the Laboratory Biomedical Technologies, Division Health Protection Technologies, Department of Sustainibility of the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA).
His current topic is non pharmaceutical adjuvant therapies of natutal origin in chronic gut diseases. With particular emphasis on probiotics and Omega-3 synergy.
