Kosice is the second largest town of Slovakia and also the centre of the eastern part of the country. It can be conveniently reached by air, train, bus and car through Prague, Vienna, Budapest or Bratislava.

By air

From Prague (PRG) airport you can get to main railway station by taxi (approx. € 21). There are direct trains to Kosice. The journey takes 10 hours.

From Vienna (VIE) airport you take taxi or bus to railway station Vienna (Wien) Westbahnhof or Vienna (Wien) Meidling, where you can take direct express train to Kosice. The duration of the journey is 7 hours.

From Bratislava (BTS) airport, the taxi (approx. € 10) takes you to the main railway station. There are scheduled trains going directly to Kosice. The journey takes 5 hours.
