Dr. Magali Cordaillat-Simmons earned her PhD in 2005 at the Université Paris V René Descartes, France, in Pharmacology, and her second Master degree in Pharmaceutical regulatory affairs at the Strasbourg Pharmacy School in 2014.
After her doctoral work she went on to work as a Research Associate at the University of Virginia, VA, USA, under the guidance of Pr. Ariel Gomez in the Pediatrics Department from 2006 to 2009.
Today, Magali works as the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Director at the Pharmabiotic Research Institute (PRI), located in Narbonne, France.
The PRI is an association dedicated to supporting companies in the development and registration of microbiome-based medicinal products in Europe. There she supervises the association’s analysis of the European pharmaceutical legislation as well as the association‘s regulatory strategy and activities and support the PRI member-companies in their interactions with the national and European drug authorities.
